Getting Around in Baltimore and Beyond

A range of transportation options are available to MICA students- the Baltimore Light Rail stops on our campus, and subway service is just a few blocks away, as is Amtrak service at Pennsylvannia Station. In addition, MICA shuttles and the Baltimore Collegetown Shuttle  and the Charm City Circulator offer free service to shopping and social activites.

Taxis

Students also use taxis to get around Baltimore. In Baltimore City, cab fare starts at $2.50 if the cab responds to a call for pick-up and then runs $1.20 per mile.
